Falomo Senior High School Wins Public Secondary Schools Performance Award 2012

On Thursday 25th July, 2013 Falomo Senior High school was awarded the price of the Public Secondary Schools Performance Award in recognition of the school's outstanding performance in the Lagos Eko secondary Education Project Assessments for Year 2012.

Falomo High Wins Drama Competition For Education District III

On Thursday 30th May, 2013, Falomo Senior High School, Ikoyi won the overall 2nd position in the Docu- Drama Competition organised by the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency to commemorate the 2013 Tree Planting Week in Lagos State.

The theme of the competition was Me And My Tree.

The Vice Principal (Academic), Mr. S.O.Kazeem, wrote the play and also directed it.

The rehearsals were held for two weeks culminating in final dress rehearsal which was held on Tuesday 28th May, 2013.

Mr. Sunkanmi Lawal Becomes The Best Non-Teaching Staff In Senior Schools In District 3

Mr. Lawal Olasunkanmi , a Clerical Officer and Non-Teaching Staff of the school was awarded the Best Non-Teaching Staff in the Senior Secondary School category in the whole of District 3 at the just concluded 2012 Merit Award Ceremony.

Falomo Produced A 1st Class Honours Graduate

An old student of Falomo Senior High School, Lawani Solomon Odafe has bagged a First Class Honours Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Benin.

Mr. Lawani Solomon Odafe, who is now doing his NYSC in Eti-Osa Locaal Government, was the school's Head Boy in 2006 recently visited the school for a programme he intended to start with the students as part of NYSC Community Development Programme.

Falomo Students At The 2013 BRF Quiz Competition Final

Ten students from Falomo Senior High School joined  students from other schools in the state to witness the finals of the 2013 BRF Quiz Competition which was held at the "Blue Roof" LTV 8, Agidingbin, Ikeja on 10th July, 2013.

Here in the picture are the ten students as they watched the events of the day's activities at the venue.

We wish our students a rewarding outing come the 2014 session. The school should be taking part in the final as competitors not spectators.



Behold The 2nd Best Vice Principal In District 3 !

Our beloved, energetic,hardworking and dedicated Vice Principal, Mr. S.O.Kazeem was given the 2nd
Best Vice Principal Award at the belated 2012 Merit Award Ceremony of the Education District 3, Eti-Osa
on Tuesday 2nd July, 2013 at the District Headquarters, Falomo,Ikoyi.

Mr. Kazeem was transferred from Government Senior College, Maroko, Osborne Road, Ikoyi to Falomo Senior  High School on May 5th 2008.

He was awarded the District's Best Head of Department Award in 2009 for his hard work and dedication to duty when he was still teaching at Government College Maroko, Osborne Road, Ikoyi.

On Wednesday, 26th June, 2013 Students of Falomo Senior High
School, Ikoyi visited the e-Learning Centre located at Odunlami
Street on Lagos Island. The excursion was led by Mr. T.K.Ajala,
Head of Department of Mathematics.

It was an eye-opening event because the students were shown a
lot of Teaching and Learning aids that could make their learning
experiences interesting,better and enjoyable.

The events has had a lot of effect on the students,if the words of
their teacher, Mr. T.K.Ajala who described the things they were
able to see at the centre which were said to include: a Conference
Room where two schools in different locations could engage in a
debate or Quiz Competition
as there are equipments that would make the schools see and hear
each other.

"We saw a lot of science equipments that could assist the students
in understanding their science lessons", so said a student, Abibat
Goumar when she was interviewed.
