Mr. Victor Igbinosa Wins The 2012 Best Teacher Award

The Best teacher award for 2012 was won by Mr. Victor Omorege Igbinosa, the economics teacher in the school.

Nobody was surprised when the Principal, Mrs. C.A..Adeboye made the announcement at the 2012 End of the Year Party.

Mr. Igbinosa is known not only for his hard work.He is always the first teacher to get to the school and he will do his work without being calked upon to do so.

Mr. Igbinosa, apart from his teaching duty, is the teacher in charge of the Young Farmers' Club and the Junior Achievement.

2012 End of the Year Party

The 2012 end-of-the-year party was held on 19th December, 2012.The event was witnessed by all teachers in the school as well as the student-teachers who came to the school from the University of |Lagos,Akoka.The NYSC member in the school, Miss Mary Ojobo, was present too.

At the occasion, Mrs.Omotunde Ogunnaike, who did her N.Y.S.C. in the school during the 2010/11 session was given a befitting send-forth gift to thank her for the contributions she made to the school during the period of her stay with us.

Rhoda Irhirhi Wins The 2nd Prize In The Miss Insurance 2012 Essay Writing Competition For Schools In Lagos State

At the 2012 Miss Insurance Essay Competition Falomo Senior High School's representative, Miss Rhoda Irhirhi came the overall second among all the schools in Lagos State.

For coming second , she was rewarded with a mini laptop and the school was presented with a white board and printer to go with.

Green House Wins The 2012 Inter-House Sports Competition

The 2012 Inter-House Sports Competition has come and gone with the Green House under the leadership of Mr. Victor Igbinosa coming first in the Senior.

The occasion witnessed the presentation of athletes from both the Senior and Junior school for easy administration and control of events on the day. It would have been done separately, but the situation on ground did not give room for that.

Our school is located in an area where outsiders are easily attracted to the compound the moment they hear the sound of public address system.

The occasion was jointly chaired by the Principals of the two schools, Mr. Akintomide and Mrs.Adeboye.

2012 Teaching Practice Is Over

We thank God for the lives of our student-teachers from the University of Lagos,Akoka, who were in the school for the whole 1st Term period of the 2012/2013 academic session.

The three of them displayed a large amount of loyalty, dedication and high performance level.

They were eventually loved by their student who showed appreciation to them when they were being sent-forth at the End-of-the Year/Send-Forth Party of the school which was held on 19th December,2012.

At the ceremony the student-teachers were presented with a lot of gifts both by the school and the students as a show of appreciation.
